PCV Murcor was everywhere at the 13th Annual American Association of Private Lenders (AAPL) Conference held from October 19-21, 2022, in Las Vegas. The AAPL 13th Annual Conference was hosted once again at Caesar’s Palace and well attended by private lenders, brokers, crowd funders, and service providers, the largest such event in the private lending industry.
The conference opened Wednesday night with a VIP event at Caesar’s OMNIA nightclub, bringing the private lending world together for a little fun. Thursday served as the conference’s main day of panel discussions, networking, and booth exhibits. PCV’s SVP of Operations David Schiffmayer and Director of Marketing Charles Beatley kept busy at our booth, discussing everything appraisals with attendees.
In the afternoon, Schiffmayer spoke on the “Origination Processes & Procedures for Today’s Private Lender ” panel with Sam Kaddah of Liquid Logics and Allen Shayanfekr of Sharestates, moderated by Mark Woodbridge of Builders Capital.
On the bonus day of the conference (Friday), Schiffmayer participated in the morning Small Private Lender Roundtables. Participants broke into groups according to their stage of business. Each stage’s group was guided by discussion leaders with the goal of helping participants tackle strategy/tactical challenges and answering any questions they still had after the Main Day sessions.
