PCV Murcor is pleased to announce that Hernan Lara has been named Employee of the Quarter for Q1 of 2022.
Hernan is a Quality Analyst I on our Vendor Relations team. He completes quality evaluations (QEs) for our Quality Control (QC) team’s Production Assistants (PAs), Vendor Support, and recently, QC Appraisers. Hernan consistently goes above and beyond expectations. He works hard to ensure that not only are his QEs done on time, but all QEs within QC finish in a timely manner. This is important because monthly scorecards cannot be generated until the QE team completes all work.
In January, Hernan used his expertise in QC and time management skills to take on additional work and seamlessly completed an additional 24 outstanding QEs on time. This was in addition to the 177 QEs that he already completed as a part of his own workload, for a completed total of 201 QEs in one month. The following month, Hernan officially took over QEs for all QC Appraisers and trained 2 QE analysts on how to complete QEs for the QC PAs. Not only did he train the other analysts, but he also completed 19 additional QEs on their behalf, totaling 210 completed QEs in February.
Hernan is not only productive, but his quality of work is top-notch, as evidenced by his percentage of overturned rebuttal rate. In Q1, Hernan had 19 rebuttals, and none were overturned by management. This shows that Hernan understands all processes and procedures and works well with team leads and managers to ensure that QEs are graded accurately and fairly.
Hernan deserves this honor because he is proficient at his job and shares his knowledge by training others. He helps the department finish QEs on time while frequently checking in with the team to make sure they know that he can help.
