PCV Murcor is pleased to honor Leslie Le with the Margaret Murray Entrepreneurial Spirit Award and Jeff Knore with the Employee of the Quarter Award.

Margaret Murray Award

Leslie, a Corporate Affairs Counsel I on our in-house Legal team, exemplifies our core values through her unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaboration. She consistently performs beyond the requirements of her role, contributing significantly to the company’s broader business development goals.

Leslie demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence and teamwork. She is a dependable team player who not only supports her department but also collaborates effectively with other teams to achieve shared goals. Her willingness to lend a hand wherever needed fosters a collaborative work environment that benefits the entire Legal Department. In a dynamic and fast-paced environment with complex deadlines from internal departments and external regulators, Leslie stands out for her ability to manage enterprise-wide initiatives alongside critical legal and regulatory matters.

She doesn’t just perform her duties—she transforms them. Leslie has streamlined key processes, particularly in the area of insurance renewals, by coordinating across departments, including business operations, marketing, HR, and IT. Her proactive and data-driven approach has directly contributed to successful and favorable coverage outcomes, thereby strengthening the risk posture of the Murcor Family Companies. She actively engages on multiple levels within the company, including the HR Compliance Committee, IT Compliance Committee, and PCV Compliance Committee.

Employee Award Honors - Leslie Le

She also plays a key role in licensing, insurance, and meeting preparation, lending her expertise to help position the company for new opportunities. Leslie has had a meaningful impact across multiple business lines, demonstrating initiative and leadership.

Leslie excels in managing multiple enterprise-wide, company, and industry-specific projects, while simultaneously managing multiple external government and regulatory requests, high-priority internal contract negotiations, insurance renewals, litigation, investigations, and government inquiries.

In addition, Leslie takes initiative to step into new areas of work, often volunteering to lead new projects or assume ownership of unfamiliar tasks. She consistently goes beyond what is required of her position, seeking out ways to improve processes, support team objectives, and contribute to the company’s broader mission. Even under pressure, Leslie maintains a high level of professionalism and accuracy, ensuring that project goals are met without compromising quality.

Leslie’s contributions have enhanced not just internal processes but also the company’s ability to grow and respond to market demands. For any new RFP process, Leslie is actively involved in the preparation of materials and accurate responses to the business. Without a matter management system, Leslie created a manual process to track RFP responses so that information can easily be retained and utilized from one RFP to another and to quickly respond to the business.

Her leadership approach has served PCV well, and for that reason and more, she is so deserving of the Margaret Murray Entrepreneurial Spirit Award.

The Margaret Murray Award honors the grandmother of our Founder, CEO and President, Keith Murray. She instilled the values of hard work and determination in him. Her life, and the way she led it, is the reason why this special award is named after her. Mrs. Murray taught her grandson that it is not just what you do, but also how you do it.

Employee of the Quarter Award

Jeff, a Senior Accountant on our accounting team, is our Employee of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter of 2025. He is receiving this honor for his exceptional reliability and consistency in the performance of his work. He consistently meets deadlines and approaches each task with careful attention to detail, ensuring that results are of the highest quality. His work is thorough, well-organized, and logically presented.

Jeff’s commitment to excellence is evident in his meticulous approach to every project, and he proactively self-reviews his work product to minimize errors and ensure precision. Even with a demanding workload, he manages month-end closing as well as handling fixed asset entries and monthly depreciation postings. Jeff continues to deliver accurate and timely results.

He also shows a willingness to take on new responsibilities and excels in managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and uncertainties with great ease. He actively seeks out opportunities to contribute and takes initiative in pursuing them, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional growth and both the team and PCV’s success. Jeff’s ability to juggle diverse responsibilities while maintaining high performance standards is highly commendable and continues to be a key factor in the success of the Accounting team.

Employee Award Honors - Jeff Knore

In addition, Jeff excels in communication, effectively managing inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis. Whether responding to appraisers, brokers, operations colleagues, or fellow accounting team members, Jeff delivers clear, concise, and professional responses. His communication is not only thorough and professional, but he also anticipates follow-up questions, providing comprehensive responses that equip stakeholders with all the information they need to take the next steps efficiently.

Jeff demonstrates a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence. His proactive mindset allows him to anticipate both customer and departmental needs, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard, even in demanding situations. When a member of the accounting team is absent (illness, vacation, etc.), Jeff readily steps in to provide support. Often, he has already begun or is in the process of completing the necessary tasks before being asked. While these responsibilities may fall outside his primary role, his technical expertise and deep job knowledge enable him to execute them with precision and reliability.

Beyond all of that, Jeff is easy to work with, affable, and genuinely transparent in dealing with subordinates, peers, others higher in the organization, and external counterparties.

Jeff’s proficiency in addressing his assigned duties, his job knowledge, his efforts in promoting a pleasant work environment, his willingness to assume additional tasks when required or during high volume periods, and his overall dependability all contribute to why he is being recognized as the Employee of the Quarter.

Thank you, Leslie and Jeff, for your continued support and commitment to the team!
