PCV Murcor is pleased to honor Chris Watson with the Margaret Murray Entrepreneurial Spirit Award for going above and beyond his role as Manager of Valuations, Quality Control (QC).

Chris’s ability to analyze quality trends and client tag data is instrumental to PCV’s success in delivering quality products to our clients.

“His leadership and knowledge are a large part of his team’s, and ultimately PCV’s, strong quality performance. He provides feedback to his team daily, training them on how to keep our tag percentages low while also developing enhancements,” said Candy Sirirotpiboon, Director of Client Relations. “With the quality trends, he implemented frontend QC rules and completed system enhancements for us that systemically check for common QC items or client-specific QC items.”

Chris has also been vital in onboarding new clients and addressing client escalations.

“He creates engagement letters to ensure we adhere to client requirements. If a client’s requirements change or because of a quality trend, he updates the vendor engagement letters. On every client call, Chris takes the lead in discussing PCV’s QC trends, market/industry trends, and performance. He is also responsive to client escalations and regularly reaches out to clients to ensure we are great partners and continue to deliver quality appraisals and BPOs. Chris cross-trained to cover the tag department and assist with any client tag escalations,” Sirirotpiboon said.

Over the past quarter, Chris worked extensively with our IT department on an ACI integration on BPO products.

“Chris spearheaded the testing of these projects to ensure the enhancements were successful, which included modifying evaluation forms and working to ensure that QC rules were up-to-date and accurate on appraisal forms,” Sirirotpiboon added.

He consistently goes above and beyond for his staff, fellow managers, and PCV as a whole.

“Chris cares about his staff. He works with Quality Evaluations (QE) regularly to ensure that all feedback is accurate and meaningful,” said Cherie McMullen, Sr. Operations Manager. “He works with the QE team to continuously develop training for his team to ensure that the overall quality of QE feedback exceeds expectations.”

Our QE team greatly appreciates his responsiveness and expertise.

“He is always on time with QC delivery and rebuttal feedback and regularly checks in to ensure nothing else is needed. He is responsive and always available to answer QE questions. His expertise in QC rules, regulations, and reporting makes him an integral part of client audits. We can always rely on him to make sure that all QC questions are answered accurately and that all documents and procedures are up-to-date,” McMullen added.
