PCV Murcor is pleased to honor Charles Beatley with the Margaret Murray Entrepreneurial Spirit Award for going above and beyond his role as Director of Marketing. Since Charles began at PCV, he has redesigned the public website, grown our LinkedIn followership, created successful ad campaigns improving web traffic, and produced several videos to enhance our marketing outreach. He completes initiatives promptly with the utmost quality.
He has put together several external communications to our nationwide panel of vendors, including ones that have increased vendors’ usage of our direct deposit program and the PCV mobile app. With more vendors enrolled in our direct deposit program, it has reduced the burden on our accounting department to print physical checks at our corporate office, which was critical during the COVID-19 shutdown.
In addition to his marketing responsibilities, Charles has been instrumental in increasing the visibility of our nonprofit, PCV|VRM Seeds of Hope, in the communities we serve. To top it all off, he’s also established outstanding relationships with industry publications and trade organizations that have afforded us increased exposure.
The Margaret Murray Award honors the grandmother of our Founder, CEO and President, Keith Murray. She instilled the values of hard work and determination in him. Her life, and the way she led it, is the reason why this special award is named after her. Mrs. Murray taught her grandson that it is not just what you do, but also how you do it.
