PCV Murcor, through its nonprofit PCV|VRM Seeds of Hope, was proud to sponsor The Let It Be Foundation’s Walk-On 2021. The walk/run took place on Saturday, May 8 in Chino Hills, CA. There was also a Virtual Walk-On option that took place from May 1 – 8.

The annual event encourages individuals, corporate offices, groups, and families to walk, jog, or run together for a community cause while inspiring their past and current Let It Be Families to participate.

PCV employees Helen Marlatt, VP General Accounting (above, left), Stephanie Klein, Corporate Office Manager (above, right), and David Cassio, a Production Associate I  on our Quality Control team (not pictured), participated in the walk/run.

“It was great to be a part of The Let It Be Foundation’s Walk-on 2021 fundraiser. The walk was the first large outdoor event approved by the city since the COVID-19 pandemic began over a year ago,” Klein said. “The organizers of the event were very energetic and excited about being able to hold this event in person again. PCV|VRM Seeds of Hope has been a sponsor of this event for many years now, and this was my first year that I was able to attend. It felt great to be a part of an event that helps and honors so many families.”

The Let It Be Foundation is unique in that they care for entire families, not just their sick child during the length of medical treatment. Without love and encouragement, a child’s disease can become the focus of a families’ existence.

The Let It Be Foundation was inspired by Karla Asch-Rosen, who at the age of 15 was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Karla was a beautiful teen who had been involved in dance, soccer and was a normal teenager. Her heartfelt desire  was to “just be normal” and share her faith with others.
