PCV|VRM Seeds of Hope, PCV Murcor’s nonprofit, is proud to sponsor and participate at the 5K for Fragile X on Saturday, April 18, at the Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, CA. It will be the 13th Annual 5K Walk/Race for Fragile X to celebrate the Southern California Fragile X Community!
Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is the leading known cause of inherited intellectual disability and the leading single gene cause of Autism. Fraxsocal’s mission is to promote public awareness and with your help we can accomplish this goal! Also, to provide a forum for families and children with FXS to meet & greet and create a stronger FXS community! We also support research for effective treatments and ultimately a cure for FXS. Treatments for Fragile X are likely to help people affected by autism, Alzheimer’s, and other brain disorders.
