PCV Murcor is pleased to honor Desi Mendoza with the Margaret Murray Entrepreneurial Spirit Award and Wendy Urias as the Employee of the Quarter Award.
Margaret Murray Award
Desi, an SQL Reporting Analyst on our Vendor Relations team, is being honored with the Margaret Murray Entrepreneurial Spirit Award for going above and beyond his everyday job requirements to help support our clients’ needs.
In October, Desi was asked by our partners to develop in-house reporting using their reporting systems. Over the course of a month, Desi worked with external teams to gain access to their systems and create reports so they could better manage their workflow. He spent over 27 hours working on this project. In addition to assisting with that project, Desi worked with our Accounting team to complete a rush request to create billing reports for a client.

Desi supports our Operations team by ensuring that our reports servers are backed up properly. He continues to support PCV’s efforts to onboard new clients by ensuring that they have customized reports based on their requirements. In the last quarter of 2024, Desi created multiple reports for clients, collaborating with their IT teams.
For all of the reasons outlined above, is why Desi is so deserving of this honor.
The Margaret Murray Award honors the grandmother of our Founder, CEO and President, Keith Murray. She instilled the values of hard work and determination in him. Her life, and the way she led it, is the reason why this special award is named after her. Mrs. Murray taught her grandson that it is not just what you do, but also how you do it.
Employee of the Quarter Award
Wendy, a Client Manager III on our Client Services team, is our Employee of the Quarter for the 4th quarter of 2024. She brings great value to our company with her dependability, organization, and willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done.
She takes pride in her job and cares about PCV and our clients. Wendy has a wealth of knowledge in customer service and uses it to help achieve exceptional customer service for our clients. She is quick to assist our clients and resolve any issues they may have. If she doesn’t know the answer to something, she will seek the answer out.
Wendy is great at making suggestions on process improvements, many of which were implemented. She takes ownership of escalations and follows through until the reports are delivered, keeping the client updated on the status throughout.
Wendy is a team player and is always willing to help others out. She has trained Client Service associates on our clients’ policies and procedures. She is cross-trained on all clients and works with them daily. She jumps in and completes client reports when other associates are out. She consistently volunteers to go the extra mile when needed.
Her dependability, compassion, and professional approach are just a few of the reasons why Wendy deserves to be our Employee of the Quarter.
