PCV Murcor was proud to sponsor McKinley Children’s Center’s inaugural fundraising event, Harvest Bowl. The event took place November 2, 2019 in San Dimas, CA, raising just over $23,000. Proceeds will go to help each McKinley child have a joyful holiday season.
McKinley provides quality and essential services to children in need across Southern California. For nearly 120 years, McKinley’s mission has been to transform the lives of youth and families through innovative education, counseling, and social services. The Center has helped more than 60,000 boys and girls thrive in their lives and communities.
“As a former foster child I understand the importance of the services that McKinley Children’s Center provides to our community,” said Cindy Nasser, PCV Murcor’s Chief Operating Officer. “We have proudly supported McKinley for years.”
Team PCV Murcor was among ten teams bowling for a great cause and fun. Unknown to the employees and family members on the team, their scores were being tallied against the other teams.
“We had a great time bowling in the Harvest Bowl in support of the children whom McKinley Center serves,” Nasser added. “And to our delight, our team came in first place. We didn’t even know we were competing!”
