Once again, the American Association of Private Lenders (AAPL) produced an outstanding and well attended private lending conference. The Annual AAPL Conference is the leading real estate lending conference connecting private lenders, brokers, crowdfunders, and service providers. The conference took place November 7 – 9 at Casears Palace in Las Vegas.

“We are thrilled with the success of our 10th Annual AAPL Conference,” said Linda Hyde, Managing Director for the AAPL. “60 sponsors and 550 guests came together to make this our best-attended event yet, and the largest the private lending industry has to offer.”

For the second year, PCV Murcor was a sponsoring exhibitor at the event, providing informative discussion with attendees on everything appraisal management.  Of course, it is Vegas, so what is an event without a little fun? Attendees got a chance to spin our Wheel of Winners for prizes and a chance to enter a raffle for Powerbeats Pro.

“The conference was a huge success. I thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful conversations with the CEOs of some of the largest private lenders,” said Cindy Nasser, PCV Murcor’s Chief Operating Officer. “I look forward to attending and participating in next year’s conference.”

The AAPL put together an entertaining and networking rich, full agenda over the course of the three-day conference. On the first night of the conference, AAPL hosted a VIP cocktail reception at the Omnia Nightclub at Casears. The reception’s background was a picturesque view of the Las Vegas strip.

The following morning, AAPL attendees were delighted to hear the keynote address given by former US Congressman, Barney Frank. Frank was the leading co-sponsor of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act.

The remainder of the day was busy with a flurry of breakout sessions and networking activities. Nasser participated on Friday’s breakout session, Getting it Right on Due Diligence & Asset Valuation. The panel was moderated by Henry Chavez of Spiegel Accountancy Corp. with Whit McCarthy of Civic Financial Services and Michael Tedesco of Appraisal Nation also participating.

“I enjoyed participating on the panel, the audience was engaged and asked some
