Executive Leadership

From the company’s origin serving the LA area as Pacific Coast Valuations, to our current nationwide scope serving national financial institutions and local lenders and servicers, PCV Murcor has been led by strong vision at the executive level. Founded in 1981 by MAI-designated appraiser Keith Murray — who continues to serve as the company’s President and CEO — PCV Murcor has grown sustainably over the past 33 years.

Our success has been the result of forward-thinking management that has anticipated trends and created solutions for an industry that is constantly evolving.


Keith D. Murray, MAI
Founder, President and CEO

Keith D. Murray is the Founder, President and CEO of PCV Murcor, Real Estate Services. Mr. Murray founded PCV Murcor in 1981 as a local real estate appraisal company serving southern California. Since inception, Mr. Murray has grown the company to a nationwide firm that provides a myriad of real estate services throughout the United States.

Mr. Murray has over 33 years of experience in real estate analysis, consultation and valuation. Throughout his career, he has analyzed and supervised the analysis and valuation of a variety of types of real property. He has worked with numerous federal agencies including the RTC, Veterans Administration, and HUD. He has also worked extensively with the GSE’s, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. In the private sector, Mr. Murray has worked with numerous Financial Institutions, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, and Asset Managers.

Mr. Murray is also active in the local community.  Under the auspices of Operation Hope, Mr. Murray is a founding member of the Corporate Counsels of CEOs, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the economic enhancement and facilitation of access and expansion of inner city communities, developing worthwhile community reinvestment ideas. Mr. Murray is on the Board of Directors of the COR Community Development Corporation (CDC).   COR CDC is committed to improving the economic livelihood of communities through community, public, and private sector collaborations.

Mr. Murray received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Finance from California University, Northridge. Mr. Murray holds the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute and IFAS designation of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. Mr. Murray is also a California State Licensed Real Estate Broker

Mr. Murray is also the Founder, President and CEO of VRM Mortgage Services, which is a nationwide provider of mortgage-related services and solutions that help financial institutions manage regulatory compliance, mitigate risks and reduce loss severity. VRM provides high-quality residential and commercial valuations, asset management services and operational outsourcing that consistently out-perform industry benchmarks.


Cindy Nasser
Senior Vice President Operations

Cindy Nasser is the Senior Vice President of Operations for PCV Murcor, Real Estate Services. Ms. Nasser joined PCV in 2007 to improve operational efficiency and productivity. She has helped solidify the company’s reputation for high quality products and superior levels of service. Her in-depth knowledge and skills have resulted in the development and launch of products designed to maintain the company’s forward-looking position in the industry.

Ms. Nasser came to PCV with extensive experience in process workflow, client services, system design, call center operations and technology management. Prior to joining PCV, she was the Senior Operations Manager for Yahoo where she directed the quality, workforce management, and call routing infrastructure into efficiencies that allowed for cost savings and corporate growth.

Previously, Ms. Nasser served as the Operations Manager for Bank of America where she implemented strategic vendor partnerships that increased revenue while providing significant cost savings in operational contracts.

Ms. Nasser received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from The University of Phoenix in Pasadena, CA.


John Hosey, MAI
Chief Appraiser

John Hosey is the Chief Appraiser for PCV Murcor, Real Estate Services. Mr. Hosey brings a breadth of appraisal industry experience to PCV Murcor’s Chief Appraiser role. He began his career as a residential and commercial real estate appraiser with the Malvern, Pa., valuations firm, Shelterfield Valuation Services. There he earned his residential and general real estate appraisal certifications. Mr. Hosey then joined DataQuick Lending Solutions – now Stewart – of Wilmington, Delaware, as its Chief Appraiser, before being tapped by national mortgage lender and servicer GMAC – now Ditech – to lead its Collateral Valuations group.

Mr. Hosey joined PCV Murcor in 2015. As the company’s Chief Appraiser, Mr. Hosey leads the Quality Control group and ensures that PCV maintains efficient processes for delivering credibly supported valuation products that conform to client and investor requirements as well as state and federal regulations.

Mr. Hosey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Tufts University, Medford, Mass., and a Juris Doctor from the Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, Pa. Mr. Hosey is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, an MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.


Jon D. Van Deuren, CPA, CGMA
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jon D. Van Deuren is PCV Murcor’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the management of its finance, accounting, treasury, planning and reporting functions.  A member of the executive management team, Mr. Van Deuren brings 35 years of senior financial executive leadership experience to PCV Murcor.  His industry expertise with private companies and SEC registrants has contributed to successfully completing capital and debt offering, debt restructuring and other corporate transactions.

Prior to his current role with PCV Murcor, he was a co-founder and partner of Financial Services Advisory Partners, LLC, a professional services firm specializing in serving a broad spectrum of financial services companies across the U.S.  He previously held corporate governance and senior financial executive leadership roles with Aames Investment Corporation (NYSE), Aames Financial Corporation (NYSE) and Guardian Bancorp (AMEX).  Mr. Van Deuren commenced his professional career with KPMG, LLP, where he advanced to the level of partner and specialized in serving financial institutions clients before entering the private sector.

Mr. Van Deuren’s community service includes serving on the boards of several non-for-profit organizations, including The Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Foundation and as a founding member of the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation.  In addition, he has also served on the curriculum advisory committees of two Southern California domiciled universities.

Mr. Van Deuren earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and business administration, with high honors, from California State University, Long Beach.  Mr. Van Deuren’s professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He maintains active status as a Certified Public Accountant (California) and is a Certified Global Management Accountant.


Russell Lewis
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Lewis has an extensive background in technology and has spent the last fifteen years managing various functions in the technology sector of the banking industry. His areas of expertise include desktop technology, telecommunications, server infrastructure, Help Center support, and utilizing technology support and management to reduce costs operational costs.

Prior to joining PCV, Mr. Lewis held the position of Vice President of Technology for a major commercial bank. Mr. Lewis has also worked with Intel and Novell to publish white papers on the use of centralized management to reduce TCO within the banking industry. Mr. Lewis has been an employee of PCV Murcor for over 10 years.


Richard Barkley
Executive Vice President Human Resources

Richard Barkley, brings 35-years of Executive Search and Human Resources background to the firm. His diverse industry experience in financial services, domestic and international manufacturing, sales and technology has given him an in-depth understanding of the complexities that shape the successful executive profile in today’s corporate environment. Mr. Barkley has worked with all levels of management, including Boards of Directors, in developing corporate strategies that drive bottom line results. He has specific experience in dealing with the challenging people issues associated with new business start-ups, public offerings, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Prior to joining PCV Murcor, Mr. Barkley held the position of Business and Search Consultant for Chrisman and Company for 5 years, HR Director and Executive Vice President for 17 years with Imperial Bancorp and 10 years as Vice President/Director of Human Resources for several manufacturing divisions of American Hospital Supply Corporation. During his tenure, he was responsible for all aspects of Human Resource management – employment, executive compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, and training and development. He has successfully recruited all levels of management for financial institutions, national sales organizations, and domestic and international manufacturing facilities.

Mr. Barkley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fullerton and until recently, served as a member of the Board of Directors of Kids Konnected, a national organization providing services for children with parent(s) who are battling cancer.


Dawn Haghighi
General Counsel

As general counsel and Privacy Officer, Ms. Haghighi is the principal company legal officer and is responsible for oversight and leadership of all legal aspects of the business, including corporate affairs, strategic corporate initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and other complex transactions, litigation, privacy governance and board activities including the Foundation and sustainability efforts, Prior to joining PCV Murcor, her legal career encompassed senior management positions at global institutions including Princess Cruise Lines, Ltd., Charter One Bank, NA and Nordstrom, Inc.  Ms. Haghighi is a frequent lecturer before corporate boards, foundations and professional organizations around the world and she is active in and serves on the board of directors of a number of international, public policy, and not for profit organizations.

Ms. Haghighi has received many professional awards including the Los Angeles Business Journal Corporate Counsel Awards 2012, Alston & Bird Women of Distinction Award (2011), the Association of Corporate Counsel Robert Townsend Member of the Year Award (2005, over 30,000 members) and the Association of Media and Entertainment Honoree (2007).
